XMMS death

My XMMS has some serious problems. I use MDK 9.1 and when I put in a CD full of MP3s, I can open the directory /mnt/cdrom and play them just fine. If I exit and then later put in a different CD, the program freezes trying to open /mnt/cdrom. I kill the process and then XMMS will not restart. I need to remove the package, reinstall it, and then it works again. Until, that is, I want to change the CD I am listening to. The same problem applies to audio CDs.
Thanks.
Andy

The re-install bit is a bit odd. But the actual
problem is Mdk's supermount. You may want
to try closing XMMS before you swap the
CD's.

Tink

Thanks Tink. I've discovered something that has also solved the problem. If I exit XMMS, restart and clear the play list, and then try to read a new CD, it works OK.
