Xmms and ModPlug

Hi!

For my first post I would like to refer to an old (2001) thread, showthread.php?t=2559&highlight=ModPlug (sorry I cannot put the complete link... some LQ rules?)

I also like ModPlug in Windows, it plays all from mod, it,s3m,xm,mid. I've look for something similar in Linux and i found the ModPlug plugin for Xmms.

Unfortunately, the plugin didn't work properly and in the Xmms library there was some files (the .it i think...) that just won't play (it skip to another song if it exist) and instead of the name of the song there is an incomprehensible string.

If someone already saw this problem or if you have an alternative player suggestion (like amarok) please tell me.

Thanks.
