I installed xmms player from the cd. When ever i want to use it, it would always lock up? Being new to linux (MDK 10) not sure why. Could someone shed a possible cause?
Thanks in advance!!
Edit the command line that executes XMMS. It likely reads 'soundwrapper xmms'. You need to get rid of 'soundwrapper' so that it reads 'xmms' only. To do the editing use System> Configuration> Other> MenuDrake.
You are welcome. Glad I could help. These message boards are great, aren't they? I've learned more about Linux on message boards of this type than anywhere else.
