XLib problems with Wine

I just installed Wine using the tools/wineinstall script. Everything went fine as far as the installation went, but I'm having trouble with an initial test run.

I just wanted to see if it'd run in the most basic fasion so I used

wine control

I fixed a couple of errors with the mount points of my floppy and cdrom and solved a couple of issues. The real problems are these error messages:

bash-2.05b$ wine control
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

x11drv: Can't open display: :0.0

Is this an issue with my existing X11 configuration or is this encapsulated to the configuration of Wine?

Thanks in advance.
