Xinet Administration

I have a unqiue problem with xinetd. When I run Http and ftp services through it I get a couple of problems:

1) http isn't running php yet standalone it runs great.

2) ftp keeps giving me permission errors and not while running in standalone.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should avoid using inetd/xinetd if possible. In your case it is, so don't use xinetd.
I'm not sure why your services run differently started from xinetd vs standalone, but it looks they're started as different users (when started from xinetd they run as one user, standaolone - different user).

A little lost about permissions .. I did some research and will I can't find nothing wrong.. It should work. I see that FTP uses passive maybe I could stop that from happening.... But for PHP not working I am little lost. Thank you for the help..

I don'y know whether xinetd supports http but the problem is not in your xinet as for ftp. You have to configure ftp for that.
Run http independently.
