How many monitors does Xinerama support?

As many video adapters as you can cram into your PC. I've run four monitors (three VGA and one composite) on my box when fooling around with xorg.

hey KimVette, can you post your xorg.conf file? i want to set up 3 monitors. I have 2 setup right now:

1.agp geforce2 mx
2.pci ati mach64

soon, i will have

1. agp geforce2 mx
2. pci ati mach64
3. pci ati mach64

i guess it would be helpful if I post my config file, but im on windows right now. sorry :0(

I just want to have an IDEA what my conf file should look like.
