Xine wave writer?

Hi all.

I'm looking for a way to dump the audio output from Xine onto disk, preferably as a .wav file. I've had a google around, but can't find anything.

MPlayer can do this with one of its output plugins, but no such plugin exists for Xine that I can find.

Is there a way of getting artsd or esd to dump to a file instead of using /dev/dsp0 perhaps, or is there a way I can intercept the audio stream before or after it gets to dsp0 using oss?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
