Xine trouble

I installed Xine via yum on FedoraCore3. When I click the DVD button on Xine i get the error message

There is no input plugin available to handle 'dvd:/'. Maybe MRL syntax is wrong or file/stream source doesn't exisist. I have a DVD in my DVDROM drive which is /media/cdrom and the only thing I see inside /media/cdrom when in Nautilus File Broswer is VIDEO_TS and inside there are 28 itens which is like

VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP

And so on whixch i think are the chapters of a DVD but how do i get Xine playing the DVD? The DVD is legit and everything but it doesnt wanna work, ive tried other DVDs and no luck. Xine did play an AVI file off a file though.

Do an /sbin/ldconfig after installing libdvdcss.
If you have still problems download xine source and compile it by yourself

Try pointing xine to your dvd drive by creating a symlink as follows,

#ln -s /dev/hdx /dev/dvd (where /dev/hdx is your dvd drive)
Insert a dvd and try to play it.
