Xine subtitles

Hi,

I'm running Mandrake 9.1 right now, and using the version of Xine that came with that. I have a number of DivX encoded avi files that I would like to watch, but they are all foreign and I don't speak the language. I have smi files for them all, but I don't know how to configure them to be run. Can this be done in Xine?

Thanks!
