Xine refuses to save settings

in Xine, I always select the skin blackslim2, and set the audio volume to 100, but when I close and reopen Xine, it's changed back to the defaults. Why? and how do I make it keep my settings?

Ok, that's pretty simple.
For every program there's - *almost* - always a hidden config fie in your home.
For gxine, it is really simple:
Code:
vi ~/.gxine/config
Then, have fun.
Best regards,

Well, try this:
Code:
# startup audio volume
audio.mixer_volume:50
# restore volume level at startup
audio.remember_volume:0
Of course you'll have to edit it to fit your need.

Hope this help...

Have tried:
