Xine question

Just installed Ubuntu 8.1 and have a problem with xine. The total time on a movie is showing one hour, 54 minutes or so. However, the movie is actually longer. When the time has been counted down, xine stops - before the end of the movie has been reached. I had the same time item before, however, it still played.

Any ideas what the problem might be and how to correct it?

I suggest trying MPlayer or VLC. I prefer MPlayer but VLC is handy to have too.
