xine-lib-1.1.1-6 won't play MP4/ACC files

I am using

xine-lib-1.1.1-6.lvn5 with xine-0.99.4-6.lvn5 GUI under Fedora Core 5

I couldn't get Xine to play any mp4 files, however it will play WMA's so i assume the win 32 codecs are working properly. When i try to play the mp4's it recognizes the ID tag but plays nothing. The clock ready 0:00 for some and 0:38 for other.

I tried the same files in mplayer, and they worked so i know the do in fact play. Since it played in Mplayer, i figured I'd link Xine to mplayer's codecs. Rebooted and tried agian... NO Luck!

I'm running out of ideas so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You install xine by compiling or rpm
If by compile, the codecs must be install before the player.
I instal mplayer before I get it codecs and the I install xine thus on my box, xine can play some file that mplayer can.
Recompile will solve it
