Smile xine fails at the next track

I have managed to get xine working with the mplayer codec pack, I'm using xine-ui as a frontend.

My problem is that it will play the 1st track in a playlist fine, then it will play the 1st few seconds of the next track and cut out, the progress bar still moves, but there's no noise.

Pause and play doesn't bring it back.

Stop and Play does bring it back.

The playlist is an online stream.

Anyone know what to try?
