xine can't find drive?
xine (installed from PacMan) can't find the drive/media. I believe it may be connected with the replaced CDROM drive that now reside at sr0.
fstab looks like this:
/dev/hda7 / ext3 defaults 1 1
/dev/hda6 /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
/dev/hda5 swap swap pri=42 0 0
/dev/hda8 swap swap pri=42 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
usbdevfs /proc/bus/usb usbdevfs noauto 0 0
/dev/sr0 /media/cdrecorder auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
/dev/sr0 /media/cdrom auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
/dev/sr0 /media/dvd auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto noauto,user,sync 0 0
/dev/hda1 /dosc ntfs rw,umask=000 1 0
/dev/hda2 /data1 auto noauto,user 0 0
/dev/hda3 /data2 auto noauto,user 0 0
#/dev/hdc /media/dvdrecorder auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
I have made a link from /dev/sr0 to /dev/dvd using ln -s
When I try to run xine it reports no plugin available to handle dvd:/ and no source found. Going into the error log it reports no plugin for dvd:/, then DVD navigator found, and snd_pcm_open() failed, device busy.
I can mount CDs and DVDs and browse them.
Any help much appreciated
