Ximian has quit sending mail... help?
 

Hi all, Happy New Year!

To get things off to a strange start, Ximian has decided to start giving me grief. It had been working fine for months, and then it jut plain quit. I contacted the help desk where my account is housed, but it being the holidays, the reply was limited. So, I am here now, bother you all instead!

Basically, the problem is this--I can recieve / view mail no problem, but I can no longer send anything. Every message is bounced from the SMTP server (I have tried two different ones I have access to), with a message like:

The original message was received at Wed, 31 Dec 2003 15:59:44 -0700from [XXX.XX.19.20]

<XXXX@XXXX.ca> (reason: 550 Error: Message content rejected)

... while talking to XXX.XXXXXXXX.ca.:

(I put the XXX's in)

Now, the really strange thing is that everything still works fine with pine and Kmail, both configured the same as Ximian 1.4! Read as, this is not a problem with how I have configured my mail-sending options, as the same options work on two out of three programs--I just prefer Ximian to the other two... At least I did until this started up. So what the sh*t is going on?!?!?!
