Ximian Evolution Filters (problem)
 

Is it just me ?, or are Evolution filters a disaster ?

They just dont' seem to work right .. example, I have 8 PO3 accounts and need a variety of filters to move emails with certain topics or senders to certain folders ..

well, ximian will copy the messages most of the time instead of moving them (meaning, it will leave a copy of the message in the inbox), when I add a new filter and try to do an applyt filters (so the new rule will work on older messages) ximian just randomly copies messages into other folders that have no place to be .. and so ..

A great program, but the worst filtering I ever saw ... anybody have a good alternative to this disaster ? (In XP I had over 40 filters, all working great under pocomail :( )

My filtering works fine using Evolution. What version are you using ?

I ahevthe exact same problem, with the filters copying instead of moving. I use version 1.2

i had that kind of issue before. it was due to conflicting rules.

I use 1.2.1 .. :(
