Ximian Evolution & Inbox Background

Sorry if this is a daft question - but does anyone know how to remove the alternate white / grey lines in the Inbox..?

I believe that is just simply built into the program and not a standard config you can simply change thru the program. You'd probably have to edit yourself searching or knowing how to manipulate the source and recompiling, etc.
