Ximian and IMAP Question

I use Ximian to read mail from an IMAP server. Normally when I delete mail from Ximian, it simply crosses it out and I have to manually log into the mail server to actually delete the mail. So instead of simply marking the mail for deletion, is there any way I can set Ximian to actually delete the mail? Thanks.

press Ctrl+E to 'expunge' the crossed-out messages. Check also it's settings - there is an option there to clean out the trash folder when u exit from evolution.
