Ximian 1.2.2-4 and PGP v6.5.8
Hi guys,
Just another question. I believe I have pretty much severed my MS ties, but just the other day a friend of mine sends me an email, and lo and blow holes it is encrypted with PGP...
I HAD been using the freeware PGP from MIT (version 6.5.8) and it was integrated nicely with Outlook 2k. Problem is that I would really likle the same integration with Ximian. I have noticed that Ximian integrates with GPG, but I was wondering if there was some way for me to use the PGP I downloaded on the MIT website instead? Anyone have any history with this that could help out please?
Oh, and one other thing. If I already have a key using the MIT PGP, and the email my friend has sent to me is encoded to that public key, would I still be able to use that key with GPG? And if so, how do I do that?
TIA for all the help everyone, and I really appreciate all the great advice I have found here to make the linux transition almost completely smooth and painless!
