xgnokii nokia 3100 problems
OK,
I got a DKU-5 cable to connect my nokia 3100 to the comp, running mandrake. Thought I'd be able to use gnokii, xgnokii or gammu.
gammu isn't able to connect, and in it's rc file states that the dku5 cable isn't supported unless using windows.
gnokii on the other hand I did have some sucess with, however in it's rc file I had to label the phone as a 6510 rather than a 3100. (I also had to change the default port to /dev/ttyUSB0)
I went back to try it all again, assuming I've done something daft, but not as far as i can see, it'll work with the 6510 but not 3100, and it still won't work completely, all I can do is download the phonebook and send a text message.
Anyone out there have any idea what I can do to get it working properly?
