XGL - Maximized Window Moves Offscreen CTRL ALT SHIFT Left/Right

I've recently re-installed XGL and Compiz on Debian Etch and everything is working great! Except when I want to move a maximized window to a different desktop (left or right) with the keystroke CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+Left/Right. The window moves to the new desktop, but it goes down all the way off the screen. I can get the window back by moving it back to the previous desktop, or by pressing CTRL+Space and choosing "move", but this is obvously unacceptable behavior.

I've seen others with this problem in the past, but I never looked into it because I never had this problem. Now that I am trying to search for this problem on Google and LQ I cant find it. Funny how that works.

Anyways, has anyone seen this problem mentioned before, and where I can find the answer? Or maybe someone knows how to fix it?

Thanks!
