xgl, gnome and vlos problem

hello everyone
Im been wondering if there is any solution to the bug 72 about Xgl + Compiz + Gnome freezing computer very often. It happens in both of my pcs one p4 with ati radeon 9200 se(agp) and the other amd with ati radeon x600(pci express) and i try updating the ati drivers bur everytime I try Gnome start fine but when i try to open a windows or program it gets stuck in the gnome taskbar and I can't move it around. I try emerge --sync and then emerging xgl but it still have the same problem
any suggestions??

ps: Im using vlos 1.3 beta 1 and ati drivers 8.27.10
