XGL: Cannot load default font 'fixed'

I installed XGL on Debian, and just about everything seems fine, however, when I try and load it, I'm hit with this error:

Code:
Fatal error: Could not load default font 'fixed'
The part that puzzles me, is XOrg works perfectly, and AFAIK, XGL uses the xorg.conf file to grab all the necessary information. When I start regular X11, I haven't a single problem, and everything loads up fine.

Any ideas?

Code:
ynadji@onizuka:~$ sudo apt-get install xfonts-misc xfonts-100dpi xfonts-75dpi xfonts-scalable
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Package xfonts-misc is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
  xfonts-base
E: Package xfonts-misc has no installation candidate
