xfterm won't show the toolbar at all on xfce4...
This is really stupid, but how do I make xfterm show the "File Edit View Etc" bar on the top of the terminal? xfterm is only showing a blank terminal without any option, I checked the documentation but it assumes that the bar is already working.
also does anyone knows if there is any way to make a "Show Desktop" icon on xfce4? |
I'm using xfterm4. When there is a menu I can change settings to make the menubar and scrollbar disappear, by using Edit --> Current Profile. Next time I launch a xfterm4, the menu will be gone. I can now right-click and go to 'Edit Current Profile' and change everything back.
For 'show desktop', I can go to the xfce4 panel, right-click, choose 'Add new item' and then choose 'Show Desktop'. All works fine for me. Btw, I am using xfce4 on debian and have added all extras. -mark |
i found out what was wrong, slackware comes with a older xfce version that uses a different terminal...
i installed the newest one and things are working. |
