xfs port 7100

We need developers to be able to use fonts from the Linux system for final adjustments on Oracle 9i Reports instead of the fonts from their local PC. Reflections X has the ability to access a font server and download required fonts by specifying the font server and port number, 'tcp/<host>:<port#>'. Our problem is the Linux Adv Server 2.1 O/S doesn't allow the XFS font server default port 7100 to be accessed from outside. If we change the Linux XFS Config file to point to port 7199 Reflections X will connect, but the Linux console X window won't work. If we try to use the default port 7100 the Linux X Windows console will work, but the Reflections X can't connect. Linux will not provide any assistance to resolve the issue, but indicated it could be done. What needs to be done to allow access to the Linux server's fonts?
