XFree86 - resolution problems
Hi,
I'm having a little trouble getting Xf86 to run in the resolution/refresh-rate that i'd like. The specs of my monitor are as follows: Bandwidth: 157MHz Horizontal Freq: 30-96 KHz Vert Freq: 47-160 Hz The values I have set in my XF86Config file are: HorizSync 30-96 VertRefresh 47-160 and my "modes" are set to "1280x1024" in the relevant Subsection (depth 24) I can't get my monitor to run 70hz @ 1280x1024 - instead it runs at only 60Hz which really hurts my eyes. If i set the VertRefresh to 70, it reverts to 1024x768@60Hz. How can I force it to run 70Hz, or even 75 Hz? (the monitor definately supports those rates at 1280*1024). Any help greatly appreciated  |
Here are some links I have collected that may help.
