xfig won't install in SuSe 9.1 (XFree86 4.3)
 

I have SuSe 9.1 with Xfree86 4.3. I attempt to install xfig using YaST and it installs all the way, but once it's done, I get the following error:
"The following packages returned with an error:
xFig"
AMD Athlon XP 2000+
512 MB DDR RAM
Radeon 9600 128 MB (non pro, non DDR)

I have no clue what to do, so any help would be appreciated.

I think the fact that this has fallen to the 2nd page means it needs a *bump*

Alright, I am confused...exactly what does Xfig do? And could the lack of it cause major issues with Linux?
Is it a vital system component?
Help!
