the problem is i updated and had a menu of custom items. now they took the menu manager away in 4.6 or 4.8 what ever one i installed. they run on these .desktop files, that are completely retarded to generate. i cannot drop a simple command/icon/name to a .desktop file generator and .desktop file is not dropped to default and showing on the menu.

menus are a _complete mess_ with applications i do not want showing.

im just really wondering wtf i was thinking when i updated xfce, i knew it was going to have this problem again.

so yeah cant edit the programs menu and tell xfce a command and a icon to link to it.

Why are you running an old version? Come on now.Update to 13.1 and then ask for help.Your stuff is olde.

lol, i build alot of things by hand. im sure xfce 4.6 would have the same problem up there as it did down here, i stepped my xfce back to 4.4.3 and got my old problem back.... window management being drawn on task bars from emerald. answer number 16 cleared everything up.... yeah xfce pannels having window management is why i was versioning xfce
