Xen, effect of DomU settings change

A little research before I go Xen on my home server :

If I set some settings differently in two seperate guest os, say hdparm settings (Guest1=UDMA4, Guest2=UDMA5), how will xen deal with that ? (given that both are on same physical drive).

Of course, this is not something I would do, but I find it an interesting question.

Wow. not a single reply. That means I either hit something good or asked something stupid. By all means, don't let me live under the misconception of having a clue, that is why I asked after all
