xemacs syntax highlighting
 

I was wondering how to set xemacs to automatically enable syntax highlighting and line numbers when xemacs starts up. I looked at the documentation about changing the xemacs init. file but it all looks greek to me, so if someone could help me decypher this, id be very glad.

What you could do is:

- manually set those options on (for example, select ``Options -> Syntax Highlighting -> In This Buffer'')

- then have xemacs save the settings: ``Options -> Save Options to Init File''

Sure beats having to track down all the configuration setting commands.
