XCursor - install-sh missing

Mandrake 10.1
Kernel 2.4.27

I'm trying to install the Xcursor libraries as they are required by the QT libraries. However, after I've run aclocal then autoconf, the following happens:

[michael@rei Xcursor]$ ./configure
configure: error: cannot find install-sh or install.sh in . ./.. ./../..

There's no subdirectories, so the install-sh script can't be in there. I can't seem to find the correct install-sh file anywhere for XCursor, so can anyone possibly point me in the right direction? Many thanks in advance.
