Post Xchat unknown error message.

When I try to run 'xchat' I am greeted with:
Code:
[Me@hostname Me]$ xchat
xchat: relocation error: xchat: undefined symbol: gtk_combo_box_entry_new_text
I upgraded to the latest version using pacman. 'pacman -Sy xchat'
Distro: ArchLinux
The older one had a libssl problem, I was advised upgrading would fix it.
Any idea what the error mean? Google has no idea. Thanks.

relocation error? seems as if it might have put it in a new location or your missing some dependencies. possibly the xchat in your path might still be the older one, etc.

Have you tried running a trace on it for a more thorough debug output?

strace xchat

Well, it works when I try it as root. I get the
"Running IRC as root is stupid" line.
But it wont work with my username.
Will the output of strace xchat work?
Thank you.
