Aren't those just FTP clients? One of the chief benefits of Qwix is the ability to push files to the Xbox at overall effective speeds much higher than FTP when using Avalaunch as the Xbox dashboard/FTP server. The Avalaunch team calls this feature "Boost Mode." I think it works by reducing the overhead in FTP transfers, which is especially useful for transferring xISO's with lots of little files and directories.

To the OP:

I haven't had to use Qwix that often since I switched to Linux and when I do, I just boot Windows in VMWare. Perhaps we should try using Qwix under WINE?

I will just use Qwix under VMware. I was hoping to avoid that though.
