xawtv now only has pal and ntsc but kdetv has pal-i etc.

I used to use xawtv to watch tv with using my Hauppage WinTvGo ( model 607 ). I live in the UK so I need to use PAL-i for the norm. Since I installed Xine with win32 codecs and dvd playing support xawtv only lists PAL and NTSC as the norms where as it used to list around 8 norms including PAL-i. As a result I can no longer get any channels with xawtv.

KDETV however still works and provides all of the norms; a couple of NTSCs and 5 or 6 PALs.

Is there any way to get the other norms back in xawtv as I want to use it to record TV with. Or does anybody know any other apps I can use to record tv with? I have tried to install mythTV and mplayer but Im having trouble installing them so any other apps ppl know of would be useful.

Thanks
