XAWTV finding the config file...

Greetings,

I have just installed RH 9 in my computer. I found the XAWTV file and started the program and it recognized the TV channels without any problem...using a Leadtek WinfastTV2000 XP Deluxe card.

But it constantly reverts to PAL although I constantly set it to NTSC for video type. And there isn't much color...looks more like black and white regardless of the hue/saturation etc. settings.

So I began a search for the xawtvrc file that the manual says should be the configuration file.

It has saved the configuration files because the channels and descriptions are all there.

But I can't find the file anywhere...even with a search of everything from the root down.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

/home/you/.xawtv

it does not create itself. you need to write it. the xawtv manpage describes how to write it really well.

Thanks...

...this pre-installed along with the OS, so I downloaded the man files...it would appear I'll have to re-create/re-load it to create the config files unless someone else has an idea.

The file is not in my home folder.

Cheers,
