I don't have experience in this distro.

What I could say is:
- it seems to not be free and there are plenty of other really good and free distro
- it seems to be discontinued as per Distrowatch and Wikipedia (not good for the support) (to be confirmed)

For these 2 points I would choose another distro.

It really depends on what your needs are.

I have read nothing good about it on this forum (use Search feature). It came pre-bundled on the Asus EEE and was based on Debian Etch (now end-of-life). Apparently it had a locked-down KDE desktop and was rather buggy.

If you are looking for a distro recommendation for your EEE, I personally am running Fuduntu on mine with happy results.

Yes Xandros is dead. I was browsing some of the dormat and discontinued ones and stopped by their forum for a read. Few still check in to see but it is dead and gone. Not sure what they did but soon after they got ahold of another badly managed distro, Linspire (AKA once upon a time Lindows,) it just stopped not too long after. As said already look elsewhere for a distro you need and check Distrowatches lists to see if the one your interested in is still active or not.
