Hi forum ,
I have installed xampp on ubuntu 9.04 . I have worked on it may be permission has been changed by mistake and now it show following error

XAMPP: Starting MySQL...

XAMPP: Couldn't start MySQL!
XAMPP: Starting ProFTPD...
XAMPP for Linux started.

even i can't browse http://localhost/xampp

it give following error .

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /xampp on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Well, undo your mistakes then. If you did it from the commandline check your shell history. If you can't retrace it then you could either list the permissions in the tarball to recreate the commands, else the security script might help or else remove then reinstall XAMPP. * Please note XAMPP is meant to be a development environment and not something you should make publicly accessable without proper hardening.
