X2vnc on SuSE 9.1 - lib error

I'm trying to install x2vnc on SuSE 9.1 after reinstalling from scratch. I have versions 1.6 and 1.5.1. I get the same error with both.

When I run configure, everything looks good but, when I try to run 'make', I get the following error:

root@arwen:/usr/local/bin/x2vnc-1.6 # make
gcc -o x2vnc args.o listen.o rfbproto.o sockets.o x2vnc.o x.o vncauth.o d3des.o -lX11
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-suse-linux/3.3.3/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lX11
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [x2vnc] Error 1

I have made sure that all the XFree86-devel, xlib-devel and x11-devel stuff is loaded (even openmotif-devel). I have tried everything on every website I can find.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Did you ... `ld-config` after installing those other libs?
