x11vnc through putty?

I have fluxbox running on Ubuntu in the living room for my multimedia center.

I use putty to log into it from my room and want to launch x11vnc so I can fix some desktop settings and things. How can I launch x11vnc through putty so I can log into it with TightVNC Viewer. I want to use x11vnc since I can log into the current visual desktop and see what is going on the TV from the other PC.

when you're logged in, you'd just run "x11vnc", and then use vnc to connect. This is unliekly to achieve what you want though, as if you're planning on watching a tv output, not only would it suck, but it is likely to be using xvideo extensions, and when you're basically being provided with a stream of glorified screenshots, an xvideo window would just be a blue box.
