hey all sorry for the newbness .. well anyway i installed wine and trying to install winamp and i get an X11drv error saying that it wont work... well here is the output from the trm...

is there anyway i can fix this

wine (m$ windows emulator) is trying to load a lib for a dll (m$) - be sure your wine setup is ok. if you have windows on that box too, set up wine to use your existing win-installation or tweak the dll settings in the wine config.

btw. why don't you edit your files with a linux editor (notepad.exe?)?

You have got a bad package. Make sure you're using an RPM built for the specific version/distro you are using.
