x sindow

Could someone please tell me how to select and run the x86free server program so that i can run a light graphical windowmanager. My system wont support x window configured with default options. My video only has 1 mb of memory and I have been unable to find a video catrd that is compatable with this systems bios. IBM aptiva 2137 e26 32 mb ram. Sweet!

You could reconfigure xfree86 by running (as root):

xf86config
xfree86config

(whichever works) from the command-line. Make sure you know stuff like what kind of video card you have, monitor specs (refresh rates) and whatnot. You can usually find out by googling if you don't have the manuals handy anymore.
