X session crashed by lopster when locking screen?

Hello, here is my problem:
when I leave the display locked for while with lopster running, I often find out every user on every virtual display has been kicked out, so I suppose the X session has somehow crashed. However, the machine itself has not rebooted.
Here is the relevant part of syslog:
Mar 3 12:53:01 camera /USR/SBIN/CRON[4247]: (mail) CMD ( if [ -x /usr/lib/exim/exim3 -a -f /etc/exim/exim.conf ]; then /usr/lib/exim/exim3 -q ; fi)
Mar 3 12:55:40 camera gdm[1043]: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting :0
mar 3 12:55:51 camera gconfd (root-2123): Ricevuto segnale 1, arresto regolare
mar 3 12:55:51 camera gconfd (root-2123): Uscita
Can anybody help me target the problem? Or has anybody a similar behavior?
Thanks in advance.
