X.Org: AIGLX Driver selection

AIGLX loads even if is present in lib/dri renaming to had no effect, how do I select the active underlying driver ?

I have tried to compile xorg-server-1.5.0 with the option --disable-aiglx, it had no effect, aiglx is still present, I want to get rid of it so that my driver goes directly to DRI

In your xorg.conf do you have

Load            "dri"
in Section "Module" and also

Section "DRI"
        Mode 0666
so that DRI is available to all users?

This article does raise some issues though;
