X Error trying to run UNIX app on remote server

I need to access my department's sun servers so I can run Cadence and I get an error from X Windows.

Code:
5 [sunapp2.ece:olsen] ~/vlsi1 > icfb &
[1] 444
6 [sunapp2.ece:olsen] ~/vlsi1 > *ERROR* X Window Display Initialization failure
*WARNING* X Window Display Initialization failure

[1] Exit 255 icfb
Does anyone know what is wrong here? I thought I setup everything correctly. Is there something I need to change either with my X configuration file or a setting I should change on the remote machine? Thanks for any help.

Nevermind I fixed it. I forgot to include the -X option when I ssh'ed into the remote machine.
