x error

Hi all.
I'm trying to switch from metacity to sawfish. I downloaded and installed the sawfish rpm. I tried doing as root: killall metacity && sawfish & but got the following:

error--> (error "sm-open-connection" "Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and
host-based authentication failed")

Any ideas?
