X dual head card setup with 9200 pro

Hello all,

I really need a hand with this I am trying to set up two screens one next to each other using a 9200 pro when i was running this setup on slack 11 it worked fine with the ATI proprietary driver I have now moved to ubuntu 7.10 and the when install the driver it says there is a syntax error. i have tried using the built in radeon and ati drivers in ubuntu with no luck I have tried many different Xorg configurations. I have got a copy of the ati kernel module source from the ubuntu repositories but I am not sure weather it is useful as i have read that it is just the src for the built in driver.

thanks in advance

Here is my xorg.conf file i have been trying
# xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the xorg.conf manual page.
# (Type "man xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
#
# This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
# if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
# package.
#
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following command:
# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg
