X Development Headers in Debian
I am having troubles compiling programs that require X. I have installed what I think are the X headers from debian (libx11-dev). I am running Debian Etch, Power PC. Everytime I try to compile a source I get something along the lines of "checking for x... no". Does anyone know the correct package to install for the x headers, or know anything at all that could help me?
Any help is appreciated!!
Thanks so much.

There are a lot more x-related dev packages.
You could install the metapackage 'xorg-dev', that should solve your problem and make it easier to get rid of the headers after compilation.

I'd save the troube and just install xorg-dev
