x config - nice setting

'David reported to me that the sound was cutting sometime, this behaviour is linked to X activity. It turned out that the new O(1) schedulers were the cause, so a quick fix was to fix the nice level of X from -10 to 0 in /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config. '

This referes to debian, in my slackware installation there is no Xwrapper.config, how do i use that setting then?

Thanks

well, I think slackware doesnt renice X, but if you want to make sure you can experiment with "nice -n 0 startx" if that helps then we have to set up something so it does it automatically, if it doesnt change anything then we know we have to start looking somewhere else
