X-CD-Roast help

hi everybody^^

I'm a total newbie, as you can see... I'm just trying to burn a cd here with cd roast, but it doesn't seem to work...

I tryed to initiate it but then got a message saying I have to run it as root first... ok =P

but as root I get this error:

root@slackware:/# xcdroast

** WARNING **: No /usr/local/bin/cdrecord installed

** WARNING **: (Invalid lib-directory? Check -l option)

root@slackware:/#

pls, could someone help me? I have already installed cdrtools-2.00.3.tar.gz

type 'which cdrecord' at a root term . note the directory where it lives. create a simlink to where xcdroast expects to find it. example: ln -s /usr/bin/cdrecord /usr/local/bin/cdrecord
