Angry x-based applications error while loading

i cant load xmms, mozilla and other applications based on X after updated my GLIB to glib2.4.3. the wrong messages showed below:

error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared
objectfile: No such file or diretcory.

how to fix it and make it be compatible between old x applications and new glib2.4.3.thanks.

you must have removed the old gtk libs, look for gtk-1.2.x and reinstall ( don't worry about conflicts, the gnome-1.x libs and gnome-2.x libs can coexist on the same system)
